Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia has attacked Ukraine in a “cunning way,” acting much the same as Hitler did in the Second World War, adding that "Russia is on the path of evil".

Ukraine is part of the UN but not NATO. They began their quest for membership in 2008, 14 years ago. In 2010 Viktor Yanukovych was elected president and rejected the alliance.

It is sad that NATO won't come to Ukraine's defense because they are not members...yet.
