RCMP Sgt. Karen Winthrop, Kimberly Breyman, and Tom Hortonn are challenged to locate the Vancouver suspects financing the cocaine shipments.
They are aided by retired Members, CST Roy Davidson, CST Rick Drought & current Member Inspector Lorne Wood.
Their investigation is assisted by Santa Barbara police detective, Elise Pelini, retired Secret Service agents Rebecca Simpson, Elisabeth Peltowski, Jackson Pennington, Jason Spencer.
The international team & the Canadian Navy tail a submarine from Colombia to Barkley Sound and Port Alberni on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Wood’s officers observe millions in cocaine unloaded and placed in a cargo truck and driven to Mission followed by the Mounties where drug dealers engage in a shoot-out with the RCMP Emergency Response Team-ERT.
Several of the author’s former students portray themselves throughout the plot contributing to the scenes’ contemporary reality.
