Great perspective! Thank you. My neighbor escaped East Germany with his parents while the Wall existed and said recently that Americans have no idea what it could be like to lose their freedom.

Totally agree Coral and Rebecca. A wrestling coach was in Vancouver, BC with his team prior to the wall coming down. Late one night a Soviet coach knocked on his door seeking asylum. The stories he shared were almost difficult to believe. The Canadian coach called the RCMP and the man was given asylum.
