I'm delighted that Ms. Hyland left the RCMP and participated in the massive sexual harassment law suit...and won. Considering the numerous incidents since then the Force hasn't changed. Will it ever? In Kelowna, BC a woman member had to pull her firearm to stop the sexual harassment where none of the male officers spoke up to stop the incident. And she was disiplined.

All that Hyland and other women endure, I wouldn't have accepted the climate and would have struck out physically to those who tried to sexually intimidate me. If I lost my job, so be it, I would leave with my self worth and dignity.
