RCMP APPLICANTS & SOCIAL MEDIA
Although many jurisdictions have laws preventing any employer to require an applicant's social media password, many, if not most, prospective employers do check the candidates social media postings.
The RCMP is being challenged for the actions of a Member which occurred prior to their employment with the Force.
