By all analysis this change was 100% political as noted in the video. Citizens were tired of the runaway gun violence and gangs. Looking at the number of shootings over the past few years, the majority were in Surrey. The other thing we learned was that Surrey RCMP was managed by "E" Divison and ultimately from Ottawa. The Surrey Police Service is local.
