LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY IS EVERY DAY!
When I returned to Canada, I crossed the border into British Columbia and immediately ahead was a Mountie who had stopped a vehicle. The Member was interviewing the driver.
I pulled to the side of the road and took the teaching moment to show my 5 year old what a police officer looked like; clean, pressed pants, ironed and fitted shirt and tie with a functional duty belt.
