"She says she was in the parking lot of a local Starbucks Tuesday morning, parked in her vehicle, when an unmarked police car slowly bumped into the front of her SUV, followed by a second one boxing her in from the back.

What happened next, she says, was a blur, as she was surrounded by multiple officers with guns drawn shouting instructions at her."

The next day Members stopped an identical vehicle with the five suspects.

Is CBC blowing this out of proportion? Histrionics?

Read the rest of the incident but please, in doing so, let's not get lost in Americanism. The officers are RCMP, not ICE.

This happened to me. Police stopped me on the freeway, stormed my truck, guns drawn yelling thru a police car's PA system to put my hands out the window.

Seconds later officers apologized. A vehicle identical to mine had just fled from an armed robbery.

I've been on my morning walkabout and stopped numerous times for questioning. A crime had been committed in the area and I was the only person around. Always cooperative and always Members' appreciation for my understanding.
