Nancy Hamzawi was born on April 18, 1984, in Ottawa, Canada. Nancy excelled at Ottawa’s public schools, earning top grades in mathematics and chemistry. She went on to study at the University of Ottawa, where she pursued a double major in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry. These dual degrees laid a strong foundation for her future work at the intersection of science, health, and policy.
