CANADIANS with COVID FORCED INTO INTERNMENT CAMPS. DISINFORMATION FROM AMERICAN MEDIA
The American Thinker is an American conservative web site the link to which my medical doctor friend shared with me today.
It doesn't take a great deal of evaluating their comments to see that they are not only false, but inflammatory. Sadly many, including my friend, are dupped into believing the false narrative.
Some readers may believe American Thinker and if you do, please share with us.
"Translation: The government is building camps where people who test positive can be coerced into “voluntarily” leaving their own homes and placed in sites under lock-and-key until they check after being deemed by the government no longer a threat to public health and safety."
My friend lives in California and ignores the fact that their 38 million citizens experienced similar if not identical restrictions to control Covid.
Lockdowns? Absolutely. Businesses closed.

Social distancing? Yes, as noted in last years' high school and university graduations where distancing and masks were mandatory.

Vaccination requirements? Yes, many businesses and schools require employees to be vaccinated. Santa Barbara College requires students to be vaccinated to be admitted.

Travel restrictions? Airlines were down for some time because of the restrictions. My relatives flew on Delta last May and were required to show proof of vaccination with the plane limited to 50% occupancy. Contact tracing? It was part of the Covid testing where people lined up in their vehicles to be tested. Schools were advised when students tested positive or were in contact with someone who was positive.

American Thinker, these comments have to be the most ignorant and inflammatory in a long while. How the writers can call themselves journalists when they print out right lies, is beyond me. The sad part is millions of Americans read this disinformation and believe it. I suspect those headed to Washington for another showdown with the federal government believe your histrionics.
