The medical profession has encouraged red wine drinking for decades with a caveat, "Not like the French".

Meaning, "Don't over indulge."

Gen Z drinkers have a reputation for binge drinking, often planning their evenings/weekends on getting drunk.

Such activity could very well be harmful.

We aren't surprised by the number of respondents calling the study bogus.

Majority of Canadians won't change their drinking habits in light of the new guidelines.

"Nearly three-quarters of Canadians say they aren’t changing their drinking habits despite recent national guidelines warning that more than two alcoholic drinks a week can increase risks of cancer, stroke and heart disease."
