RCMP MILITARISTIC TRAINING. IS THE HARASSMENT NECESSARY?
As a Marine and former law enforcement trainer I question the need for the military style training.
"There are more than 1,500 vacancies in the RCMP in B.C. because of hundreds of unfilled positions and officers on leave"
Is this shortage connected to the above?

As a former Delta Force soldier I agree that no police department should have a militaristic training system. We aren't police officers and not tasked with interacting with the public therefore our training has to fit our task, just as police officers training should be.
