I can't get past what the Church did to Indigenous North Americans and other children. There was a Residential School in my British Columbia town and I've listened to far too many stories of children torn away from their families to not be ashamed to be Catholic.

Thanks for the education. I don't believe American's have woken to the damage the Church did to First Nations Americans for years. The above link to Decolonization is quite revealing.
