LEARNING WHEN TO LEAVE
My friend Elisabeth Peltowski, also a retired Secret Service Agent, helps out at our women's shelter and sees this often. She just rescued a woman with three children from an abusive relationship. The woman was afraid to leave because she had dropped out of high school and had zero skills.
Elisabeth helped turn her partner around, worked with the mom to get her high school diploma and acquire marketable skills.
