I think this might qualify.
"LILLOOET, B.C. — A man awaiting trial on no fewer than 20 charges has a few more to contend with after being nabbed in Lillooet.
On Sunday, RCMP responding to a suspicious person call near Pavilion found a truck that had been stolen out of Clinton.
Officers determined the truck had run out of gas, and the alleged thief abandoned it and took a taxi to Lillooet, skipping the $86 fare once he got there.
RCMP found him at a local hotel and arrested him for fraud and possession of stolen property."
