"Okanase, 39, who was wanted Canada-wide since Friday, was released from Mountain Institution, reported to a halfway house in Vancouver but then checked out and wasn’t heard from or seen.

Okanase has a history of violent sexual offences against strangers dating back to 2003 and is deemed a high risk to the public."
