I also remember when Larry Baird Sr. and Dr. Simon Lucas (https://indspire.ca/laureate/simon-lucas-2/) did a joint presentation and shortly thereafter I was invited to watch Dr. Lucas negotiate with the federal government over fishing rights. He was an absolute master.
