FORGIVENESS. WORTHY OF A TRY OR MOVE ON?
I get so tired of hearing free advice about forgiving someone. The hollow intrusive words are meaningless and agitating to a sexual assault survivor.

Move on! Listen to any women's center counsellor and she will confirm that looking back is unhealthy. The wrongs that someone does to you, in this case domestic abuse, will not change. Women have been forgiving men for their acts for generations and always lose. Many women go back to their abuser for financial security and often end up in the hospital.
Once a woman has made a decision to end a relationship, I encourage them to seek shelter and counselling from a women's resource center and follow their advice.
