"Food for thought. My practice of meditation teaches me to be more present in the moment. It is part of my morning routine. There is something very precious about being present in the moment. We generally miss so much in a day due to depression, anxiety, and distractions. We have so many distractions. Cell phones being a big one. During your day are you truly present? When you are in a coffee shop are you sitting looking at your phone or smiling at those around you? Taking in every precious moment. Where are you at? --Shelley D

So true!! I was listening to a 6 year old yesterday and she said, "I can see rainbows when I close my eyes." I asked, "Can I see rainbows if I do that?" She replied, "Only if you hold your hands like this and say Ommmm."
Anxiety is often the hardest emotion to control, anticipating something happening in which you don't want to participate. Good advice!
